Lightning Auto Repair and Tires

When you own a tire shop but are over an hour away…in the pouring rain…right at rush hour time…what do you do when you pick up a bent nail in your tire and realize you won’t make it back to Hudson with it? I searched for local shops. The first one (usually recommended on socials) didn’t answer the phone. After two tries, I called Lightning Auto Repair. He answered immediately and said come right in. Got there and within 10 minutes they had the nail pulled, tire plugged and were walking me through their garage to stay out of the rain and get back on the road. Even better, they refused to charge me! As a shop owner, I can truly appreciate the service received and just want to give a shout out. The shop is so clean as is the waiting area and they truly responded to get me back on the road ASAP! Thank you guys! For any of our friends and family in South Tampa - we always appreciate you coming out to visit us in Hudson but would 100% recommend using this shop for your local tire and mechanical needs. Oh, and they have a body shop too! - Tara

Had an emergency when my check engine light came on far away from home. Limped my Tahoe to the nearest mechanic. Thank goodness is was Lightning Auto. They were slammed busy late in the afternoon. Nate got everything diagnosed by end of business. They also did a full diagnostic. Unlike most shops, who just recommend stuff. The tech actually leaves notes on why this may need to be fixed. Highly recommend!!

I had an excellent experience at this tire shop! The staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took care of my vehicle quickly and made sure everything was done right. The quality of their work was outstanding, and they went above and beyond to provide great customer service. My car drives perfectly now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and top-quality tire service. Thank you for the excellent job!

This is the most reliable car repair place I’ve ever been to. I have been a customer for the past three years, and every experience has been consistently positive. Their pricing is very fair and reasonable, and they maintain complete transparency throughout the entire repair process. The team always takes the time to explain the work being performed and provides recommendations with the customer's best interests in mind. Their commitment to honesty, quality workmanship, and exceptional service is truly commendable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable auto repair facility.

If they had more than 5 stars I would give them 10+. From the moment I arrived Devon was thorough and proffessional! The entire process at Lightening Auto was smooth and stress-free. He communicated very clearly exactly what needed to be done and when he finished it was perfect. A huge thank you to Devon, who helped me through every step of the process. He was patient, transparent, and incredibly knowledgeable!
